The current model of education from Kindergarten to Year 12 is broken, it has changed very little from the Seventies. Lots of kids love Education but they hate school.

Albert Einstein commented that, "Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned at school".

Why do students still attend school 5 days a week to sit in rows facing forward whilst copying information down from a blackboard into their books, where it will generally go nowhere?

Why do we keep grouping young people by age into groups where they study subjects that were taught in the previous century? when their passion is to learn and develop skills according to "their own curriculum".

The conversation always seems to revert to "when I was at school things were like this, etc".

Perhaps it is time to "flip" the classroom.

There are a number of listed Education providers and it is interesting to see how the market is valuing the future of Education.

Over the past 2 years Academies Australia Ltd ASX code AKG, has gone from 40 cents to a $1.00, Navitas Ltd ASX code NVT, has gone from $4 to almost $8, Redhill Education Ltd ASX code RDH, has gone from 9 cents to 90 cents, G8 Education Ltd ASX code GEM, has gone from $1.00 to over $5.00.

Clearly the market can teach us plenty yet
