My favourite book isLike a Virgin by Richard Branson. Sir Richard Branson, the internationally famous entrepreneur, adventurer, and self-proclaimed icon has the distinction of being the only person in the world to “have built billion-dollar companies from scratch in eight different sectors”. His book focuses on the secrets they don’t teach you at business school. I found it raw and inspiring. I admire his ingenious entrepreneurial nature.

My favourite investment book…is Common stocks and Uncommon Profits by Philip A Fisher. Fisher’s book was written in the 50’s and was an important book in thinking about stocks from the business perspective. This was a big jump in analysis that previously was concentrated on understanding the numbers only. Buffett gives this book a lot of credit, in fact when I originally read Fisher’s book I thought he copied Buffett and it wasn’t until I noticed when it was written I saw who copied who. The book is best remembered for the fifteen points to look for when buying a stock and is an easy to read investment classic.

I am currently reading...Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James. This is the third book in the Fifty Shades of Grey series with a focus on romance and passion. What can I say - I'm on holidays and sometimes a bit of mind numbing fluff is just what the doctor ordered!!
