1. Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has criticised British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in a speech in London. He said that "a number of his positions have been very much at odds to what I consider good policy".

5. The Dow Jones fell 0.17% to 26.004.83 overnight, the S&P was down 0.20% to 2,879.84 and the Nasdaq dropped 0.38% to 7,792.72.
