1. The Australian government has accused Russia of a “pattern of malicious cyber activity”, as overseas officials accused Russia of attempting to hack into the investigation of the 2014 Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 crash.

2. Australia has sent a RAAF plane to Indonesia to assist in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami on the island of Sulawesi. The death toll has risen to over 1,500.
