1. Julie Bishop has described some of the behaviour in Canberra as "appalling" and said it would not be tolerated "in any other workplace across Australia". The former foreign minister also said it was not acceptable that the Liberal party, and all political parties, had contributed to Australia falling from 15th in the world in female parliamentary representation to 50th.

2. The Australian Competition and Consumber Commission has launched an urgent investigation into 'fake' honey following an investigation by Fairfax and the ABC. 12 of the 28 jars of honey from Australian supermarkets tested were found to be adulterated.

3. Shares in Facebook, Amazon, Alphabet and Netflix have all fallen after Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg testified before the US Senate. Twitter shares fell 6% following the Senate Intelligence Committee looking into interference in the 2016 election as well as abuse on social media platforms.

4. Two Russian men have been named as suspects in the attempted murder of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter using nerve agent poison Novichok. UK Prime Minister Theresa May said the men are believed to be officers from the Russian military intelligence service.
